Introducing the WSP-B Series Sediment Filter
The WSP-B series spin down sediment filter is the first line of defense for your appliances, protecting and extending the life of your standard filters by removing large dirt, sand, and rust particles before they reach the rest of your plumbing system, including water softeners and expensive appliances.
Easy Maintenance and Longevity
The WSP series is flushable and reusable. Regular flushing (daily or weekly) is recommended, depending on water usage, sediment amount, and hardness level. However, when hardness forms hard scale that clogs the screen, simple flushing may not be sufficient. In such cases, remove the stainless steel cartridge and clean it with a brush and/or soak it in vinegar.
Avoid the common mistake of using 'fine' filters for 'rough' water, which can cause the filters to clog sooner than expected. Utilize multi-stage filters to achieve one of the best filtering results and longer cartridge life.
Filtration Guidance
The WSP-B spin down sediment filter comes with various micron size options. Smaller microns allow less to pass through, but it's important to only go as small as needed to get the most life and efficiency out of your filters. Differences in water quality and water pressure affect the performance of the WSP.
