The iSpring FM25B whole house water filter cartridge is specifically designed to reduce iron and manganese. It effectively lowers iron levels from a maximum of 3.0 ppm to 0.01 ppm and manganese levels from a maximum of 1.0 ppm to 0.01 ppm.

Efficient Performance

This iron filter outperforms conventional media with higher linear velocities and delivers high flow rates while maintaining very low pressure drop. It operates best with a feed water pressure of 20 to 100 psi, with a maximum pressure drop of 5 psi at a flow rate of 8 gpm.

Durability and Stability

The FM25B whole house water filter excels in stability and durability, offering consistent performance across a wide pH range (5.8 to 8.6) and temperature range (40 to 113°F). It can last up to three times longer than traditional green sand due to the use of catalytic media that is not consumed during the filtration process. The filter’s lifespan is approximately 50,000 gallons at an iron level of 3.0 ppm, or around 12 months at a daily use of 200 GPD.
