The reverse osmosis membrane we offer, the iSpring Greatwell Reverse Osmosis Membrane, is a thin film composite membrane that can remove up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants in the water, including lead (removes up to 98% of lead), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, and sodium. Tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI Standards, this membrane is made of food-grade high capacity material that provides high packing density to remove contaminants. With a 0.0001 micron size, it only allows water molecules to pass through, while virtually keeping everything else out.
As the heart of a Reverse Osmosis System, each iSpring Greatwell Reverse Osmosis membrane has been inspected under the highest standards in the industry and has passed the quality check before being shipped to customers. It is recommended to replace the reverse osmosis membrane every two to three years.
The dry version of our membrane offers advantages over the wet version, such as longer storage life, easier preservation (no need for vacuum sealing), and no preservation solutions that need to be washed off before usage. However, if your water has a high Total Dissolved Solids level (above 750 ppm), please reach out to us for customized solutions.
