The RCC7AK-UV Reverse Osmosis system, designed for under-sink installation, features a 7-stage, layered filtration process built around reverse osmosis (RO) technology. This advanced system can remove over 1,000 different types of contaminants. The combination of granular activated carbon (GAC) and catalytic carbon (CTO) filters in the second and third stages provides enhanced protection against harmful chemicals, offering more safeguards than CTO alone.
This iSpring water filter system boasts a 75-gallon-per-day capacity RO membrane, making it capable of meeting the drinking water needs of even a large family. Certified to NSF/ANSI 58, this Reverse Osmosis under-sink mounted water filter and Point-of-use water softener incorporates 7 distinct filtration stages to remove up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants, including lead (up to 98% removal), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, PFAS, asbestos, calcium, and sodium.
The RCC7AK-UV's advanced 11-watt UV stage makes it a suitable option for dealing with all types of water, including well water and other unreliable sources like lakes and streams. The unique flow sensor switch automatically turns the UV unit on and off with water flow, conserving power and extending the life of the UV lamp.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) not only removes harmful pollutants but also a few beneficial minerals. The Alkaline Remineralization (AK) filter restores these healthy minerals and maintains a natural alkaline balance, resulting in a more natural taste that comes from the right balance of these minerals.
Quality components ensure the system's reliability and low maintenance for many years. The clear, see-through housing of the first stage makes filter inspection a straightforward process.
This RO system under the sink is designed to operate with feed water pH ranging from 3.0 to 11.0 and feed water pressure between 45-70 psi. The feed water temperature should be within the range of 40-100°F (4-38°C). Please note that this RO system does not come with a booster pump.
