Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Automatic Shut-Off Valve with Quick-Connect Fittings, 1/4"
This valve is designed to allow your reverse osmosis system to turn off the water supply when the tank pressure reaches approximately 65% of the supply water pressure. It features 1/4" fittings and is easy to install, as shown in the picture.
The "in & out" markings are located on the top of the valve. The top side of the valve represents the high-pressure side, while the bottom side is the low-pressure side. The high-pressure water from the filter housings enters the "in" at the top of the valve. This high-pressure "out" then goes to the membrane housing inlet. The low-pressure outlet from the membrane housing connects to the "in" at the bottom of the valve. Finally, the "out" at the bottom leads to the storage tank.
It's important to note that continual drain problems can be caused by various factors, including the automatic shut-off valve, check valve, flow restrictor, or tank pressure. Replacing the automatic shut-off valve (ASV) may not resolve the issue if the problem is caused by other components in the system.
